US Army to Test Autonomous Vehicle Tech on Michigan Roads | Digital Trends
The U.S. Army is actively testing short-range radio technology in an effort to evaluate autonomous control in military vehicles, The Detroit news reported earlier this week. The testing is taking place along a 21-mile stretch of Interstate 69 in St. Clair and Lapeer Counties, close to the Army’s Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) in Warren, Michigan.
