U.S. Government Awards handed out to twelve safety experts
During the opening session of the 24th ESV conference on June 8, twelve experts were awarded the U.S. Government Awards. Five awardees received the U.S. Government Special Awards of Appreciation,which is in recognition of and appreciation for outstanding leadership and special contributions in the field of motor vehicle safety. Seven
awardees received the U.S. Government Awards for Safety Engineering Excellence, in recognition of and appreciation for exceptional scientific contributions in the field of motor vehicle safety engineering and for distinguished service to the motoring public.
