ERC workshop on research data management » Horizon 2020 Projects

The ERCEA/A1, in collaboration with the ERC Scientific Council Working Group on Open Access, has organised an ERC workshop on research data management and sharing on 18 September-19 September in Brussels.Frontier research often heavily relies on data that is produced or collected during the research process, or on existing data that is being analysed and built on in the context of new research questions. It is therefore vital that researchers, their institutions and funders adopt and support good research data management practices, including the sharing of data in an appropriate way.

The workshop will explore this topic with ERC grantees and other researchers, representatives from funding bodies, universities and other research performers, publishers, policy makers, and other interested parties.
