Perspectives in understanding open access to research data: stakeholder values and motivations in research ecosystems.

(Policy Recommendations for Open Access to Research Data in Europe) FP7 funded project will hold its first workshop, “Perspectives in understanding open access to research data: stakeholder values and motivations in research ecosystems” that will be hosted by the University of Sheffield. This workshop will contribute towards the work being completed for work package 1 “Stakeholder values and ecosystems”. The workshop has two aims: 1) to present key findings from a review of policy and related documents about Open Access and findings from 5 case studies of research practice. 2) to discuss the findings with stakeholders to assess their significance for policy development and for research practice.
