Alstom opens a new service centre for hydraulic brakes for tramways in Spain
Alstom has inaugurated in Madrid a Lead Service Centre specialised in tramway equipment overhauls and repairs within its business area Transport Life Services (TLS). This new centre will focus its industrial activities on overhauls and repairs of callipers and hydraulic brake units for Alstom Citadis tramways as well as non-Alstom ones. It will also be in charge of damper overhauls for all type of trains, as well as cardan balancing and kit elaboration for modernization projects. This is the first Alstom centre dedicated to this highly specialised maintenance activity.
