IT-TRANS 2014: Tomorrow´s public transport relies on IT | UITP - Advancing Public Transport

The 2014 IT-TRANS event demonstrated above all that: a future-oriented public transport system needs intelligent IT solutions.

A total of 3,671 trade visitors from over 50 nations and 385 conference delegates were in attendance at IT-TRANS, the International Conference and Exhibition on IT Solutions for Public Transport, held 18-20 February in Karlsruhe, Germany. At the exhibition, 162 exhibitors (2012: 150) from 26 countries presented their IT solutions for tomorrow´s public transport systems. 69% of the Exhibition visitors were present for the first time. They came from South, Central, and North America, Africa, Asia, and Europe. They came from various countries including Brazil, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, China, and India.5 (...)
